New Shingles
I'm a little behind at posting what has happened at the house. Before the deep freeze hit Minnesota the house got new shingles. The roofers finished the day before the temps dropped below into the negative degrees. They were out finishing up in 30 mile per hour winds, needless to say we now have shingles all over our yard! The new shingles make the house look much better, even with the old green siding.

Quite lucky you got new shingles already just in time. And you're right, the house definitely looks better with the new roof. I'm curious, do your shingles have a lifetime warranty?

Kudos to the roofers for being efficient and finishing before the weather turned really bad. It wasn't just your roof at risk but also their safety. Anyway, the roof looks great! I hope it's held out quite well 'til now. -Jonathan @ Professional Roofing Contractors
ReplyDeleteIs it just the light or are they in different colors? I prefer the color of the old one; it matched the color pine tress behind it. Anyway, what matters is that you got new ones installed before the bad weather caught up with you. Joann @ AJCRoofing.com
