Wet, Broken and Dusty

We stopped out at the farm Saturday because both headlights burnt out on the van, and the tools are all out at the farm.  While we were there we discovered water in the garage.  Normally we wouldn't care, but considering we have a lot of stuff stored there and our NEW kitchen cabinets are all out there with our washer and dryer it is a little disheartening.  The boxes for the washer and dryer were in standing water and some of the cabinet boxes were also wet.  We put 2x4's under the boxes to get them all of the floor.  Now we hope and pray that my new kitchen cabinets are not ruined, we didn't open the boxes!

The house is now finished with the sheetrock and is completely taped and plastered.  We spent Sunday vacuuming all the floors and walls to get some of the dust out of the house.  Mackenzie was able to see the guys on stilts while they worked on the ceiling, she thought that was pretty cool, and couldn't figure out how they could do it.

Hammer number 1 broken during the process of pulling old nails out of boards from the old corn crib and house to put under the boxes.

Hammer number 2 broke about 2 minutes after breaking the first hammer!

The broken hammer pile!  We have also broken my friends hammer when we were gathering wood to keep after we first got the house.
