Life on the Farm

We recently purchased a 100 year old farm.  I'm going to attempt to capture our journey of bringing this old farm house up to date.  The house is very run done, with basically no indoor plumbing, and it hasn't been lived in for about 2 years.  My husband decided to inquire about the property after driving by it probably 100s of times.  We decided to look at it, thinking it would be completely gross and not worth the time and money to renovate it.  Turns out this house was wanting us to buy it!  It was in better shape than we expected, with 13 acres, in city limits and the kids will still go to their current school!  We put in an offer with a letter letting the current owner know that his beloved house wouldn't be torn down but remodeled and to our surprise they countered with a good offer and we accepted.  Here are some pictures of the house and property.  It looks pretty run down but will transform into an amazing property shortly!
